Flung Out of Space…

Dear all the weirdos out there,

Sometimes, I wonder what is it like out there
When I look up to the stars, you must be watching us too
giggling as we stumble upon our own mistakes
Undisturbed, your void is filled of tranquility
that brings an exotic energy that only you can understand

You exist in a peculiar frequency
which makes you the ninth planet
free from the pre-existing orbit
Perhaps you're still working out your way
and hey, it's okay

We're all dwelling in this endless abyss
thinking that we're the only ones out here
until one day we cross paths with each other
There'll be an unspeakable spark
so great that it might destroy us both
But it'll be timeless, and we'll both be speechless
Until then, just wait
If one day mankind ceases to exist
it might take a lifetime for them to eventually realize
that they wish they were you
Meanwhile, keep being the waves that hit against the shore
You're too good to be ignored
